Blooming lovely

Looking for some serious spring inspiration, I recently revisited Dutch designer Anne Ten Donkelaar. (Read my previous post about her here)
Needless to say, Anne is still at it, making the most exquisitely detailed masterpieces. Her work combines paper cutouts, photographs and actual pressed flowers along with what looks like real little root systems and all. Each piece is so delicate and intricate, positively inspirational. Thanks Anne for brightening up spring!

Super fine lacy-paper-cutting artist and illustrator

Sometimes one stumbles across beauty of such a fine and delicate nature that it humbles you. Aoyama Hina creates the most intricate and unbelievable paper cutouts. At first I could not believe my eyes, surely it was impossible for anyone to be that dexterous with a pair of scissors? If, like me, you couldn’t believe it, check her out on YouTube.  (link found through Mein Inspiration, which is a fabulous blog full of incredible paper art and sculpture)
