Slinkachu has been abandoning little people in the streets since 2006.
His miniature scenes are created using remodeled train set people. He carefully places them in real life scenes and then photographs them up close and from a distance. Slinkachu likes to think of his street art as being subtle and sensitive, “I want people to be able to empathise with the tiny people in my works.”
Slinkachu is also famous for other imaginative forms of ephemeral art such as his Inner City Snail “A slow-moving street art project”. He creates teeny tiny graffiti tags (using non-toxic paint of course) on the shells of snails and then releases them into the urban wild, photographing them as they charge off.
